Introductory Remarks

Dear Vambracers —

In our last post, Continuing Education, I discussed my desire to thoughtfully pursue the continued improvement of certain skills like writing and coding. I can’t say that I’ve super successfully executed on that pursuit, but I did recently sign up for Brilliant.org, which seems like the perfect AI-enabled educational experience (at least for coding and math). I’ve created similar walkthroughs for writing in my own AI environment—and so putting all of this together, hopefully I’ll have a fairly well-rounded regiment for continuing education and mental workouts. Moving on!

NYC Tech Week

I’m in NYC for tech week (and to visit friends) and it’s so fun to feel the energy here and to exist in an environment where everybody is pushing and striving for something. I know this is probably one of those super obvious things that most everybody knows. But it’s one thing to know, and it’s another thing to actually experience it. I’m looking forward to attending some exciting events and meeting some cool people throughout the week, and seeing where the city takes me.

Given that I am currently in NYC, I think that’s all I’m going to write for today. There are things to do and people to see!
